IMAGE Focus Messages Database
IMAGE Focus contains a number of System Messages that are both informative to the user and helpful to NewEra Technical Support. You may search for the meaning and/or explanation of these messages here. 
    
Message Search: To Search the Database enter an IFO Message Number in the space provided on the left and SUBMIT.  Results are presented in numerical order by message number. If you would like to comment on a message or feel the explanation is unclear Click the message number, complete the requested information and submit. Your request will be emailed to NewEra Technical Support
    
Message Format: The IMAGE Focus Message Format is "XXXYYYYZ" where:
    

“XXX” represents the three-character inspector identification code:

  • IFO = IMAGE Inspector

  • JES = JES2 Inspector

  • JS3 = JES3 Inspector

  • VTM = VTAM Inspector

  • TCP = TCPIP Inspector - PROFILE.TCPIP

  • DAT = TCPIP Inspector - TCPIP.DATA

  • USR = USER Inspectors

“YYYY” represents the four-digit message code.

“Z” represents the single-character action code:

  • F = Failure
  • E = Error
  • W = Warning
  • N= Notice
  • I = Information only

“Message Text” represents the dynamically created message associated with a specific inspector, message code and/or action.

       
Other Messages: In addition to the messages contained in this database, IMAGE Focus may issues messages that are not preceded with a message number. all unnumbered messages are considered self-explanatory.
